Jodi Moisan has always loved “making things” her much beloved Grandma Fisher taught her how to sew as a little girl. They would sit in the summer on her grandma’s porch swing and make stuffed animals and dolls. Jodi continued her love of being creative and graduated from
Ball State University with a degree in art.

In 1998 Jodi opened “A Little Toy Shop” in Yorktown Indiana, during that time Jodi took an interest in artist made teddy bears, and she created her own patterns and techniques.  Due to the huge demand for her bears she decided to close her shop and work on bear’s full time.

Jodi’s bears are one of a kind and have their own unique personality. Her bears have been published in several bear magazines. She has had a feature in  “Teddy Bear Review Magazine”  introducing her line of bears called “Brave Bruins”, which was a real honor.  She was the Teddy Bear Review Magazine 2004 Pattern Design winner and a 2006 Golden Teddy nominee. She has also been in the “Who’ Who of Teddy Bear Making.” Jodi’s bears have been sold all over the world.
